Tous ceux qui administrent des serveurs IIS<\/a> sont confront\u00e9s aux nombreux ID d’\u00e9v\u00e9nements possibles (sans parler de ceux relatifs \u00e0 ASP.Net<\/a> dans ses multiples versions …). Il n’existe pas une version condens\u00e9e de tous ces \u00ab\u00a0event IDs\u00a0\u00bb hormis de parcourir l’arborescence https:\/\/docs.microsoft.com\/en-us\/previous-versions\/windows\/it-pro\/windows-server-2008-R2-and-2008\/dd364124(v=ws.10).<\/a> J’ai donc d\u00e9cid\u00e9 d’\u00e9crire le script<\/a> suivant qui va parcourir l’arborescence sus-mentionn\u00e9e et g\u00e9n\u00e9rer le fichier Excel suivant<\/a>. Vous retrouverez ainsi tous les \u00e9v\u00e9nements relatifs \u00e0 IIS consolider dans un seul fichier<\/a>.<\/p>\n

En bonus : les derni\u00e8res lignes du script<\/a> font une analyse locale et une consolidation des \u00e9v\u00e9nements de type \u00ab\u00a0Warning\u00a0\u00bb et \u00ab\u00a0Error\u00a0\u00bb en ce basant le fichier<\/a> Excel pr\u00e9c\u00e9demment g\u00e9n\u00e9r\u00e9. Une fois le fichier<\/a> g\u00e9n\u00e9r\u00e9 vous pouvez le copier (ainsi que le script<\/a>) sur un serveur IIS \u00ab\u00a0offline\u00a0\u00bb (pas connect\u00e9 \u00e0 Internet).<\/p>\n

All those who administer IIS<\/a> servers are confronted with many possible event IDs (not to mention those related to ASP.Net<\/a> in its multiple versions …).<\/span> There is not a condensed version of all these \u00ab\u00a0event IDs\u00a0\u00bb except to browse the tree https:\/\/docs.microsoft.com\/en-us\/previous-versions\/windows\/it-pro\/windows-server-2008-R2-and-2008<\/a><\/span>.<\/span> So I decided to write the following script<\/a> that will go through the aforementioned tree and generate the following Excel file<\/a>.<\/span> You will find all the events related to IIS consolidate in one file.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

As a bonus: the last lines of the script<\/a> make a local analysis and consolidation of the events of type \u00ab\u00a0Warning\u00a0\u00bb and \u00ab\u00a0Error\u00a0\u00bb based on the previously generated Excel file<\/a>.<\/span> Once you have generated the file<\/a> you can copy it (and the script<\/a> as well) to an \u00ab\u00a0offline\u00a0\u00bb IIS server (not Internet-connected server).<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
